Sponsorship re raising money to teach sport in schools in Gambia

Hi,
I'm Rebecca Barsby one of the volunteer teachers at Kimberley Swimming Club, a swimmer and a student doing a Foundation Degree in Sports Coaching.
In January 2013 with nine other students I'm going on a trip to GAMBIA, to teach a variety of sports in schools there, to pass on our knowledge not only to the children, but the coaches/teachers there as well.
In order to help pay towards sporting kit and sporting and general school equipment, that we intend to take and leave there for the children (who live in extreme poverty), contribute towards the cost of the children's continued education and generally help fund the trip,  I am doing a 10KM sponsored walk on the 31st of October 2012 at Wollaton Park in Halloween costume.
With this in mind the children of Gambia and myself would be extremely grateful if you could sponsor me to do the walk, any amount would really be appreciated.
