A.G.M Calling

The Annual General Meeting is being held on Sunday 1st December 2013 at 7.15 p.m. in the Community Room of the Kimberley School. Your views and opinions on the running of the Club are important and we hope you will come along to air these.
Nominations are requested for the following positions. All present committee members (the present committee list is on the notice board) stand down but are eligible for re-election.

Press & Publicity Officer

Nominations should be proposed and seconded on the nomination form ( these can be found at the club desk) and the person nominated should be willing to undertake the responsibilities of the post for which they are being proposed. Only members over the age of 16 are eligible to vote but it is an “open” meeting and therefore parents of junior members are welcome to join in the discussions. Nomination forms must be lodged with Jean by Monday 25th November 2013. When all nominations have been received a list of candidates will be compiled and put on the notice board. A ballot will be held at the AGM to determine who will form the committee and elected officers for 2014. Subsequently any new committee members will be expected to pay a membership fee if applicable.

Presentation Evening 2013
All the plans for the presentation evening are on track, however we will need people to come along on the afternoon of the 16th November to help us set up. If you wish to help, just turn up!!
We also need help for sorting the trophies on the weekend of the 9th and 10th November. If you can help on either the Saturday or Sunday (or both) please leave your name at the desk so we can sort a rota out.
We also need prizes etc for the raffle or any donations towards our Christmas Hampers ( please see the list on the notice board/desk)

Volunteers needed

We are always needing volunteers to help out at the club in any capacity especially on poolside and recent sessions have shown this to be an urgent requirement.
Please, Please help.
We do not want to cancel any sessions through having a lack of teachers, so please help out if you can.

If anyone wants to come on the trip please put your names at the desk so we know how many to plan for. So far the response has been disappointing.
We try to cater for all ages on proposed trips so please help us by giving us ideas of what YOU want.
We are also booking some places for the pantomime at Mansfield - if they have places left for a club booking. The date has yet to be announced.
