KSC Charity/Long Distance Swim 24/07/2010

On Saturday 24th July Kimberley Swimming Club will have sole use of a single lane from 2pm until 9pm to enable as many of our swimmers as possible to take part in a charity/Long Distance Swim.
So if you would like to take part in this event, or have a burning desire to complete a long distance swimming award that you would otherwise not have time to complete in other club sessions, please register your interest, pick up a sponsor form from the desk and start collecting sponsorship!!
Please only ask friends and family to sponsor you, not strangers.
Details of distances and badges which can be earned are also available from the desk.
Please join us and let’s raise as much money as we can collectively. All monies raised will be split 3 ways with equal thirds going to
• Rainbow’s Children’s Hospice - is dedicated to providing care to meet the needs of children and young people from the East Midlands who are affected by life limiting and life threatening conditions. As the East Midlands’ only hospice for children and young people, Rainbows is a place where life-limited children and their families can find care and support. The incredible team of people helps relieve symptoms, improve quality of life, support parents and siblings through their bereavements and care for children until the end.
• Kimberley Swimming Club – to help fund our forthcoming club champs and offset coach hire costs to various galas through out the year.
• Cystic Fibrosis – A cause being championed by Gina, one of the Leisure Centre Lifeguards. The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is the UK’s only national charity dedicated to all aspects of Cystic Fibrosis (CF) they fund research to treat and cure CF and aim to ensure appropriate clinical care and support is available for people with CF.
