KSC are proud to be able to congratulate and report that Lauren Gill managed to recover sufficiently from a serious knee injury to be able to travel to Majorca with her Nova team mates and take part in a swim training camp designed for elite swimmers. Despite Lauren’s recovery being very late in the day, she is making steady progress and still hopes to compete in the Youth National Championships in mid July. We wish her every success.
The club are also proud to be able to congratulate Mollie Wright on becoming the Midlands 200m Freestyle and 800m Freestyle champion following her participation in the Midland District Age Group Championships in early June. Mollie collected a haul of medals and after a long couple of weekends swimming finished in 3rd position overall in the 11 year girls age group – a fantastic achievement. Mollie is now looking forward to the National Age Group Championships later in July. Good Luck Mollie!
