The 28th February and 1st March saw another successful haul of trophies and personal bests for Kimberley Swimming Club at the Nottinghamshire ASA County Championships.
There were a number of medals and achievements including:
Livia Kingsland – 2nd 09/10yrs 50m butterfly, 1st 9/10yrs 200m backstroke, 3rd 0910 50m backstroke, 1st 09/10yrs 400m freestyle
Matthew Jackson – 1st 09/10yrs 200m breastroke, 1st 10yrs 400m IM, 3rd 09/10yrs 50m breastroke, 1st 400m 09/10 400m freestlye
Matthew Shipley – 3rd 13/14yrs 100m freestyle, 3rd 13/14yrs 400m freestyle. Matthew also wins a special Kimberley yellow T-shirt for breaking the 1minute barrier for 100m freestyle.
Joseph Kingsland – 1st 11/12yrs 200m breastroke (2nd across all age groups), 1st 11/12 400m IM, 2nd 11/12 100m freestyle, 1st 11/12 400m freestyle
Lauren Shipley – 4th 11/12 100m backstroke, 4th 11/12yrs 200m backstroke, 6th 11/12 yrs 50m backstroke
Jimi Knowles – 4th 11/12yrs 400m IM, 3rd 11/12yrs 100m freestlye, 3rd 11/12yrs 400m freestyle
Mollie Wright – 1st 15yrs and Over 800m Freestyle, 2nd 15yrs and over 200m Butterfly, 1st 15yrs and over 400m freestyle
Sophie Woodward – 2nd Multi-Disciplinary 50m Freestyle
Finley Bunhejee – 4th 09/10 50m breastroke, 4th 09/10 400m freestyle
Bradley Francis – 4th 14yrs and Under 200m Butterfly
Ben Barsby – 3rd 15yrs and over 100m freestyle and 3rd in the 17/over 50m Breast
Imogen Spouge 5th 11/12yrs 400m freestyle, 4th 11/12yrs 100m freestyle, 2nd in the 11/12yrs 200m Fly.
Also plenty of great swims from Megan Hanson, Gemma Calder, Jade Calder, Katie Horner, Lewis Rounce, Josh Wakelin, Isaac Morledge, William Francis, Chloe Bis, Bradley Francis, Matthew Fearn and Tom Ellis
