Sports Centre League - Round Five - 19/10/2013
Saturday the 19th of October saw Kimberley swimmers travel to Sutton to compete in the 5th round of the Sports Centre League. On the night Kimberley came second to Sutton Swimming club, despite some great swims and personal bests.
First places went to Ben Barsby x 3, Mollie Wright x 2 and Charly Neilson, Joseph Kingsland, Tanishia Howell, Bradley Francis and Lauren Gill.
Personal bests were achieved by Greg Brown, Jade Calder x 2, Elliot Clements, Tanishia Howell, Joseph Kingsland x 2, Bradley Francis, Emma Stevenson and Ben Barsby.

Retford Swimming Club Open Meet Sunday 20th October
Kimberley Swimming Club swimmers - Jessica Shepherd, Jimi Knowles, Eleanor Aboutorab and Ben Barsby all competed at the Retford Open Meet on Sunday.
The swimmers all made waves with personal bests, County and Regional qualifying times and trophies.
Jessica Shephard 9yrs - 8th 200m breast, 1st 400m freestyle & 1st 200m fly
Jimi Knowles 10yrs - 1st 50m freestyle, 3rd 200m IM & 1st 100m fly
Eleanor Aboutorab 10yrs - 2nd 200m fly
Ben Barsby 16 & Over - 1st 50m freestyle & 1st 100m freestyle
InterCounties
Sunday also saw Kimberley swimmer Charly Neilson swim in the 100m breaststroke having been selected to represent Nottinghamshire ASA, in the inter counties competition at Ponds Forge and gained a personal best. Well done Charly..
