Kimberley Swimmers at the counties.

The 28th February and 1st March saw another successful haul of trophies and personal bests for Kimberley Swimming Club at the Nottinghamshire ASA County Championships.

There were a number of medals and achievements including:
Livia Kingsland – 2nd 09/10yrs 50m butterfly, 1st 9/10yrs 200m backstroke, 3rd 0910 50m backstroke, 1st 09/10yrs 400m freestyle
Matthew Jackson – 1st 09/10yrs 200m breastroke, 1st 10yrs 400m IM, 3rd 09/10yrs 50m breastroke, 1st 400m 09/10 400m freestlye
Matthew Shipley – 3rd 13/14yrs 100m freestyle, 3rd 13/14yrs 400m freestyle. Matthew also wins a special Kimberley yellow T-shirt for breaking the 1minute barrier for 100m freestyle.
Joseph Kingsland – 1st 11/12yrs 200m breastroke (2nd across all age groups), 1st 11/12 400m IM, 2nd 11/12 100m freestyle, 1st 11/12 400m freestyle
Lauren Shipley – 4th 11/12 100m backstroke, 4th 11/12yrs 200m backstroke, 6th 11/12 yrs 50m backstroke
Jimi Knowles – 4th 11/12yrs 400m IM, 3rd 11/12yrs 100m freestlye, 3rd 11/12yrs 400m freestyle
Mollie Wright – 1st 15yrs and Over 800m Freestyle, 2nd 15yrs and over 200m Butterfly, 1st 15yrs and over 400m freestyle
Sophie Woodward – 2nd Multi-Disciplinary 50m Freestyle
Finley Bunhejee – 4th 09/10 50m breastroke, 4th 09/10 400m freestyle
Bradley Francis – 4th 14yrs and Under 200m Butterfly
Ben Barsby – 3rd 15yrs and over 100m freestyle and 3rd  in the 17/over  50m Breast
Imogen Spouge 5th 11/12yrs 400m freestyle, 4th 11/12yrs 100m freestyle, 2nd in the 11/12yrs 200m Fly.

Kimberley S.C Novice Gala

 Our annual Novice Gala will be held on Sunday 26th April this year.

.  The venue is Hucknall Leisure Centre

.  The start time is 11.00 a.m. 

As the name implies, this gala is mainly for small pool and first session swimmers plus some squad swimmers who are under 9 years old, so make sure you get your entries in early - the closing date is Wednesday 1st April so that we can get all the medals and trophies ordered in time as they will be presented on the day.

All the necessary information can be found by clicking the links below and it would help if you could print off your own entry form as we don't have the facility for multi-printing without great expense!

Late entries will NOT be accepted and it WILL NOT  be possible to enter events on the day.

Kimberley Swimmers at the Forthcoming Age Group / Youth County Championships

Kimberley Swimming Club has 30 swimmers represented at the forthcoming Nottinghamshire County Championships that are taking place between Saturday the 14th February to Sunday 15th March. We also have a number of relay teams in action .

Sports Centre League 07/02/2015

Saturday the 7th February saw Kimberley Swimming Club competing in the 1st round of the Sports Centre and our first gala in Division 2 after promotion last year.

We came 2nd which is a great effort and well done to all swimmers who gave outstanding performances.

Individual personal bests went to Thomas Reeves, Cameron Thorpe, Greg Brown, Ben Barsby, Megan Hanson, Lauren Shipley and Molly Forrester.

Relay first places went to the 4x25 Free 9 and under freestyle team and the final Cannon relay. Individual firsts went to Tom Ellis and Lauren Shipley, Ben Barsby, Mollie Wright, Thomas Reeves, Matthew Shipley, Jade Calder, Joseph Kingsland,

Notts ASA Stage 3 Gala Round One 31/01/2015

Saturday 31st January saw KSC swimmers competing at Sutton, in the Notts ASA round 3 of the League. Finishing 4th on the night the club had some great swims
